Boozy Tiramisu Milkshake

Have a delicious milkshake that tastes like tiramisu but has a boozy twist. It's perfect for a sweet treat or a rich dessert.

Ingredients:

  • 4 scoops coffee ice cream

  • 1/4 cup milk

  • 2 tablespoons espresso

  • 2 tablespoons coffee liqueur

  • 1 tablespoon chocolate syrup

  • 1 tablespoon mascarpone cheese

  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder

  • Whipped cream for topping

  • Ladyfingers for garnish

Instructions:

Put espresso, coffee liqueur, chocolate syrup, mascarpone cheese, cocoa powder, and coffee ice cream in a blender


Mix until it's creamy and smooth


Put into glasses


Add whipped cream on top


Add ladyfingers as a garnish


Serve right away

Chicago Dogs Sandwich

A classic sandwich called a Chicago Dog is made with all-beef hot dogs topped with mustard, relish, onions, tomato, a pickle spear, sport peppers, and celery salt. It is served in a poppy seed bun. This recipe really gets the taste of the famous Chicago-style hot dog.

Ingredients:

  • 6 all-beef hot dogs

  • 6 poppy seed hot dog buns

  • 1/2 cup yellow mustard

  • 1/4 cup sweet pickle relish

  • 1/4 cup chopped onions

  • 6 tomato wedges

  • 6 dill pickle spears

  • 6 sport peppers

  • 1/4 cup celery salt

Instructions:

Preheat grill to medium-high heat


Grill hot dogs until lightly charred, about 5-7 minutes


Meanwhile, lightly steam or toast the poppy seed buns


Place grilled hot dogs into the buns


Spread mustard along one side of each hot dog


Top with sweet pickle relish and chopped onions


Place a tomato wedge on top of each hot dog


Add a dill pickle spear and a sport pepper to each sandwich


Sprinkle celery salt generously over the top of each sandwich

White Bean and Roasted Mushroom Soup

A hearty and flavorful soup featuring white beans and roasted mushrooms, perfect for a comforting meal.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cans white beans, drained and rinsed

  • 1 lb mushrooms, sliced

  • 1 onion, diced

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 4 cups vegetable broth

  • 2 cups water

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp thyme, dried

  • 1 tsp rosemary, dried

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream optional

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 400F 200C


Toss sliced mushrooms with 1 tbsp olive oil, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper


Spread mushrooms on a baking sheet and roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown, stirring halfway through


In a large pot, heat the remaining 1 tbsp olive oil over medium heat


Add diced onions and garlic, saut until softened


Add drained white beans, roasted mushrooms, vegetable broth, and water to the pot


Bring the soup to a simmer and let it cook for 15-20 minutes to allow flavors to meld


If desired, stir in heavy cream for added richness


Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper to taste


Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired

Ingredients:

  • 4 egg roll wrappers

  • 1 cup shredded cabbage

  • 1 carrot, julienned

  • 1/2 cup bean sprouts

  • 1/4 cup sliced green onions

  • 1/4 cup sliced mushrooms

  • 1/4 cup cooked shredded chicken

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger

  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic

  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water

  • Oil for frying

Instructions:

Put sesame oil in a large pan and heat it over medium-low heat


Put in the garlic and ginger, and cook until the smell is nice


Bean sprouts, mushrooms, cabbage, and green onions should all be added


Make sure the vegetables are soft


Soy sauce and chicken shreds should be added


To make the filling thicker, add the cornstarch mixture


Warm the sauce up until it gets thicker


Take the pan off the heat and let it cool down a bit


Put some of the filling on top of each egg roll wrapper


Fold the sides in and roll it up tightly


Use water to seal the edges


As the oil in a deep fryer or skillet gets to 350F 175C, add the food


It should take about 34 minutes per side to fry egg rolls until they are golden brown and crispy


Take it off and let it dry on paper towels
